“Garden Masterclass spent a truly excellent day at Thenford Arboretum last summer, it was the perfect venue for our event entitled ‘Choosing Trees’.  We were made to feel extremely welcome, with superb facilities and delicious catering.   The event team at Thenford even helped us overcome a very tricky last-minute situation, when our speaker called to say that he was stuck on the wrong side of the Atlantic.  Their attitude was that the show must go on and helped us to provide a truly memorable study day.”

Annie Guilfoyle, Garden Masterclass

“Our recent visit to Thenford Garden and Arboretum was a delight. We were warmly greeted and given morning coffee and biscuits. We then had a superb introductory talk from the Head Gardener who was knowledgeable and entertaining. He put the garden into context and gave a good orientation so we could explore independently. This was a treat as it is a garden…to be discovered.

Around every corner, a vista, a sculpture, a surprise or a specimen plant. The collection of well catalogued trees and plants will delight any garden enthusiast or professional. We can wholeheartedly recommend this garden. Wonderful!”
